So before we get to the New York Jets, Kim, it's been a while since we did this franchise element tell the people all about eight buckets.

I got to get the rest off here. This is a pretty simple exercise and it's just allows us to kind of just simulate an entire teams NFL season and then talk about what we want to do versus the win total that's in the market.

How do we simulate their season? Well, we do it with a lot of buckets. So normally there would be eight buckets. Nick and I would both be wearing bucket hats. That would be two of the buckets.

We would pull a team out of the bucket of bets famous on this show the red bucket with the dollar sign on it. That's over on some shelf somewhere because we only have one team left. That's like six buckets today. Basically, I'm wearing a hat.

And then we're going to do the jets. So it's basically only one bucket so far. Once we pull the team out of the bucket, which today is the jets.

We will analyze that team schedule. We'll go through every single game on the schedule and we will try to project a point spread for that game using kind of what we know about the team so far. One is their week one point spread.

What's their win total in the market? We'll try to come up with a point spread for every single game on their schedule. When we do that, we will put the games on the schedule into one of five buckets.

And the buckets are blow out win blowout loss likely win likely loss and toss up and which bucket the game goes to depends on how we project the point spread.

So touch down or more either way blow out win blowout loss three to six and a half either way likely win likely loss under three either way toss up game.

You basically get a piece of a win a part of a win depending on what bucket you go into how likely you are to win that game.

End of the exercise add up all the parts of the wins pieces of wins and compare that to the number in the market.

We will get very we've gotten very close to most of the numbers in the market. And on some we've been a win win and a half off.

And we try to talk about why that is and what that makes us want to do with anything. And it just leads to discussion about win totals, which is like my favorite thing to talk about.
