Good afternoon Michael Malice here. Let that be your welcome for the next hour. We have with us

0:28.8

Yaron Brooke, former chairman of the Iman Institute author of free market revolution and freedom.

0:34.5

What was the other one? Equal is unfair. Equal is unfair. I have to apologize to

0:39.8

Yaron because I just moved here. My stuff is all in boxes. I'm still and my friend Matthew's

0:45.2

house has been so generous. That's to let me use his machinery. And I am the comment chairman

0:52.0

and former CEO. Oh, former CEO. Thank you for that correction and I apologize about that.

0:56.8

I had the pleasure of running into you last week while you were here in Austin at the

For people who don't know, objectivism is the philosophy that was developed by the late

1:09.2

iron ran. Ran's biggest books are of course the fountain head and at the shrug and after that,

you're saying that objectivism as an organized movement is more popular now than at any time

1:38.3

in Ran's lifetime. Is that correct? Yeah, I think that's absolutely right. I think the movement

1:43.8

is only growing both as a movement and in terms of the impact the books have on people. That is

1:51.3

the number of people impacted by Rand, influenced by her, inspired by her,

1:57.7

grows from decade to decade and certainly right now, you're seeing more serious students of

2:02.8

objectivism than probably ever before. Austin, Texas has become this hub where a number of

2:09.1

intellectuals, objectivist intellectuals have moved to Austin, Texas, but also people just like

2:14.6

everybody else, fleeing California, leaving New York, leaving under places. We've got two hubs
