Summary

The Royals fall short again and lose the ALDS to the Yankees three games to one.  In the end, the small things didn't matter much.  The Royals pitched well but the Yankees best hitters were just better than the Royals best hitters.  There's plenty of reason to be optimistic about the future and thankful for the surprising gift this season was.    The Dems finally trot out Obama and it didn't go well.  He's overrated as a speaker and Hope and Change is so long gone all he's reduced to is scolding black men for supporting Trump.  Oh, and he casts a shadow over Kamala. This strategy won't help much as polling indicates.  We have some juicy demographic numbers that suggests a blowout is in the works.   Listener emails are all over the place this week... some good, some tough and one that turned us on to the best commercial of 2024.    Lee Sterling from www.paramountsports.com has a new client special for KKHI listeners on the heels of his hot streak.  He also won for the patrons again on Thursday night.  We'll do the picks.   And our song of the week is extremely relevant to the millions of Americans dealing with hurrican damage the past few weeks.

So we were able to go and sit in some wonderful seats, about five rows behind the on deck circle by the Royals dugout.

talked about how this season was such a surprise and how happy we were. The Royals were back

to relevance in winning games and how optimistic we felt about the future if they just

add a bat or two to the

lineup. So all in all, it was a really nice time and a really good night. And we were walking out

and there were some people sitting in their seats who couldn't get out of their seats. They sat there

like Bobby Witt did and just stared at the field and watched the Yankees and didn't want to leave.
