So it's kind of pick your poison with these baseball teams right now.

We'll start with the Yankees. We got shut out last night in Arlington. Two hits, only one allowed by Nate Avaldi across his eight innings of work. He is now 10 and 3 with a 1.38 ERA. So the offense didn't do anything. That aside, it was another rough outing for one, Devin Williams. There we go. Pitch number 10. A three, two pitch. The crowd ended up with a pitch. Swing on. Line drive. Base hit. Center field. Garcia scores. They're sending Peterson. Here's a throw to the plate. Not in time. It's partially cut off. A two-run single. That's Dave Sims here on the fan. This blows. Yeah, yeah kind of that's where we're at right now rowdy telez winning the battle

pretty much shut a loss for words at this point I, I don't really know what to say at this point, you know. You just continue to work and keep trying to execute and, you know, help the team anyway I can. So here's a guy. So that's what I was talking about. That comment right there. And he's owning it. I'm not saying he's not. And that's, it rings

hollow in everybody's here. But this is where the manager, this is where the analytics guys,

the pitching coach, and everybody's got to recognize that his confidence is in the toilet.

So now is not the time. And nor is it going to be the time over the next two to three weeks

to put him in a high leverage situation.

It's got to be something where you can protect him, and you just got to try to build up

his confidence that hopefully when you do make it to the playoffs, that he would be somewhat

effective and somewhat confident in his stuff.

Here's a guy who the last three years combined gave up 26 earned runs. He's already matched that in this first season with the Yankees. So it's gone completely the other way. He was obviously an all-star reliever and it just has not worked out here in New York for whatever reason. Meantime, Aaron Judge, back from the IL, 0 for 3, couple of strikeouts as the Yankee losing streak hits 5. We've got some work to do. A lot of things to clean up with the boys in here are fired up to, you know, change all that and get things right. And we've got a great ball club in here. So just a lot of mistakes all around, you know, some minimal mistakes and physical mistakes. But we've got to fix them. I got to fix them now. They are 7 and 11 since the All-Star breakdown, 6 and a half back of Toronto. He's got to fix them, got to fix them now. This has been going on for the last, what, month and a half? Yeah. Maybe two months. It's been almost as whatever their solid winning percentage was through, I think it was almost 60 games or so,

it's pretty much gone the other direction in almost as many games.

Yeah, I've been in football locker rooms, not baseball locker rooms, you know, at that level.

I don't really know other than sitting everyone down and telling everybody, look, man, you've

been playing baseball your entire freaking life and you guys are being

paid, you know, because of, you know, how good you are, what you've performed like, and now, like,
