What's up, everyone? Welcome to the Bronx Pinstripe Show, episode 302. It's a special episode of the podcast today. We spoke with Dan Zimborski of Fangraphs. He invented the Zips

projections. It's one of the more well-known projection systems in the baseball analytics community.

He developed it in the early 2000s and has been going strong ever since. So it's a lot of fun to get him on. He's a, he's an

interesting guy. You know, we kind of touched on a lot of different things. Obviously, the news,

the big news of the day was Machado, signed with San Diego. So we touched on some of that a little

bit and how it affects the Yankees and, you know, just to get Dan's thoughts on the contract and

Machado's decision to go to San Diego. And then we dive into what actually are Zips projections

because I'm sure a lot of people aren't too familiar with them. And then individual players

like Luke Voigt, Ann Duhar, Aaron Judge, Clint Frazier, the starting rotation to get his thoughts on

what the projections are saying for those guys, if he agrees with the projections, if he thinks maybe
