Welcome to the Bronx Pstripe Show.

We're recording Sunday.

It is miserable weather in New Jersey, in New York, in pretty much the entire Northeast.

0:29.9

No Yankees game.

0:31.2

They knew that was going to have.

0:32.2

I think they officially postponed it Saturday after the game.

0:35.8

So we knew that the Yankees swept the three games

0:38.9

against the twins. Gotta love the twins. You know, shout out to the Minnesota twins. Shout out to the

twins. Always there to get absolutely stomped by the Yankees. Yankees keep winning games, eight

0:50.8

in a row. Nine in a row. Is it nine in a row? Nine in a row. Nine in a row.

0:55.0

Is it nine in a row? Nine in a row, yeah. Zoddstadt confused me. He said eight wins this week, which is weird thing. Then you have a weather condition, you know, it takes the series. So it takes, well, they had the series. It was a matter of them sweeping the series or not. So look, hey, they're over the Schneid, and the weather helped them get that sweep as well. So good things are happening. And the Minnesota Twins gave us the opportunity to actually have a relatively stress-free game. So we teed off, scored a ton of runs. And, you know, even the first game of the series, second game in the series, scored a bunch of runs, really never felt threatened at any point. So, you've got to love it. Well, the twins. I love the Minnesota Twins. Yeah, I mean, the twins punted on the season. They traded away their number one pitcher. They traded away their best offensive player. So the twins are in full give up mode at this point. But yeah, you're right. even because Thursday game, we talked about how they made it interesting, and it was a nail-biter for the Yankees when it shouldn't have been. But thankfully, Friday and Saturday's games, they were just easy cruise-to-victory type of wins, which the Yankees have not had. Yeah, they've won a crap ton of games, basically since the middle of July. but every game that they've won is pull your hair out.

2:01.9

Yeah, except for Minnesota Twins. a crap ton of games, basically since the middle of July. But every game that they've won is pull your hair out.

2:05.0

Yeah, except for Minnesota Twins.

2:10.3

You needed Rob Reff Snyder in left field and Jake Cave out there, two former Yankee greats.

2:11.5

Got to love that, I mean, that deal, Cave for, for Heal now coming back.

2:34.3

He was supposed to pitch today on Sunday. So that would have been a nice little shove the bats down their throat. But unfortunately didn't happen. I guess we'll have to see if he's still around when they make up that game. But yeah, that trade is looking pretty goddamn good for the New York Yankees right now. Jay Cave, another one of those guys that we talked about last time as the, you know, a 4A outfielder for the Yankees.

2:37.0

So they turned it into a guy that's, you know, had essentially three perfect starts

2:42.0

to start his career with the Yankees.
