Let us start with a positive.

I get that Will Warren wasn't great.

I get that the bullpen blew one, two, three, four different leads last night.

But Aaron Judge was Aaron Judge.

Trent Grisham reminded us of last year, and the New York Yankees showed fight and resilience.

And they come back from two down in the bottom of the ninth inning

the five game losing straight the reason this game was awesome was because of Aaron judge doing

what Aaron Judge does yeah brish him as well but the fact that it was against Mike trout who basically was because of Aaron Judge doing what Aaron Judge does. I'm Grisham as well. But the fact that it was against Mike Trout, who basically was better than Aaron Judge last night, it made it almost one of those unforgettable moments early in the season. Because look, the Yankees had lost four in a row, five in a row. They lost five in a row. And it felt like, man, how are they going to stem the tide?

And doing it in an epic fashion, an epic way at home at the stadium is how you get the confidence back in the fan base.

It's how you start showing people that, yeah, losing streets are going to happen, but this team is still going to be really good, maybe even a great, and they're certainly going to the postseason. The opposite is what's happening with the Mets, unfortunately, from a fan base support standpoint, but from a Yankee standpoint, you knew that Judge was going to hit at some point. You knew that Trent Grisham, it was likely to turn it around. I don't know about that point. He had a great season last year.

He was in a contract year. He's in a contract year again. I expected this from the New York

Yankee. At some point, at some point, their pitching's going to falter. Their bats are going to make up for it.

I think you hit on something very important. There were two kind of frames of thinking you can take out of last night's Yankee game. If you went to the stadium last night, if you were one of the 35,000 people there and you took your kids, you saw something that those kids will talk about for years. No doubt. Mike Trout and Aaron Judge put on a show. Now, personally, as a geeky baseball fan, it means nothing to me.

But I acknowledge, and I'm glad you brought that.

How does that mean nothing to you?

It just doesn't.

But I appreciate you acknowledging it because you're right.

Can't you get casual for a moment and just enjoy the greatness of the two guys that were

like mashing all last night.

I can get casual to which I can say, hey, I understand that the 12-year-old that went to the game last night saw something really badass.
