I was so impressed by the amount of Yankee fans that were at that game for the first pitch. Me too. Because at the end of the day, it's a Wednesday night. It's the middle of May. I know it's the Blue Jays. It's Yankees, Blue Jays. It's warm out at least. but there was a two hour plus rain delay.

This game didn't start until lay after 9 o'clock at night. And a part of me always looks at situations like that, especially when you're facing a division rival and could easily just cancel the game and play a double header and do all that. And I say, that kind of sucks. I feel bad. people waiting around for two hours. But so many people stayed, I'm like, people probably liked it.

They were like, yeah, I'm just hanging out at Yankee Stadium, having a drink. Also, wasn't it must watch baseball? Is that what we talked about? Yeah. Cam Schlittler was amazing, as was Trey Yassavage. And maybe it's the Boone decision that sent them out for the six or the seventh because

I'm with him, said, hey, Cam, go out for the seventh inning. And it didn't work, especially that last that bat to Jimenez. Right. And he struggled. Your Savage came out after six innings. Yeah. He didn't come out for the seventh inning. So over six innings of work, it was even, it was a draw, if you will. The difference was, and I get why, Schlittler's pitched all year, Yassavage's made fewer starts because remember he started the year on the injured list. Maybe they're being more careful. He's a few years younger.

But the difference was he as Savage didn't come out for the seventh.

because they'd already spent two hours stuff in their face in the legend street

that they actually sat in the seats. That's what was noticeable last night. So you're saying because one of the critiques of the new Yankee Stadium for the last decade and a half is that when you watch a game it's empty behind the plate? Yes. Because people are in the club. You're saying if you open up that club even earlier, kind of like sitting through a two-hour rain delay,

it would be filled most of the day.

Listen, you will have people that will challenge the girth

and how much food they could eat. But what do those people do with those seats for those two hours? They ate and they ate and they ate. So by the time the game started, you're ready for the game. You're ready for the game. So that is why it was so full and bustling behind the plate last year. He's fat. By the way, you're right, because the times that I've,
