Welcome to the Bronx Pinstripe Show episode 570. We were one inning away from feeling very good going into the All-Star break and then shit hit the fan for the third time in a week and a half. The Yankees give up six or more runs in the ninth inning.

I was so excited for this podcast. You have no idea. I was so excited for this podcast because there was really, there was, there was going to be, there was supposed to be nothing bad to talk about. There was supposed to be nothing bad to talk about. We're setting up to record right after the game. We were ready to go. Three of us are sitting here. Bob's here on the Monday

episode. We're sitting here watching the last inning. Hermann's in the game, 7-2, first

run couple runners on, blah, blah, blah, yada, yada, yada. What the fuck? This is how this is,

same shit, different day with this team.

This was supposed to be a joyous occasion going into the all-star break after what just

happened this weekend.

I was like literally Friday, Saturday, probably the most excited watching it.

It was fun baseball, good baseball.

All day today. Good baseball. Good baseball. And then one

inning, these splash innings, just throw in massive, massive fucking wrenches into what this

season should be. It's, it's fucking, it's crazy. Before we started recording, you said, well, we still have good things to talk about from

Friday and Saturday.

And while that is true, those were good things.

This is what this team does.

There's good things get erased by horrendously bad things.

And this isn't once, this isn't twice, this isn't even three times.

It's the same stuff, whether it's bullpen meltdowns in the worst possible time,
