Welcome to the Bronx Pinstripe Show.

We're doing Friday 5s today, but Scott's not here.

Joined by Luke Rella of the Boys of 160 First Street, part of the Bronx Pinstripes fam.

Rella, what's up, man? How are you enjoying this baseball season?

It's been better. I've had better years watching the Yankees, but at least they, at the very least, right now, while we're recording this, they're up three, two, so things could go very south. And I saw that they were two and seven in game threes or the final game of a series, so I'm expecting a Yankee loss today because they can't finish off sweeps. But, you know, it's been better, but it seems like it could be getting better. So I don't know.

We've all, we've all seen better days. Yeah, that's the thing. Yeah, we are recording. It's the

fifth inning on Thursday night's game. So they have won two games in a row. And I feel like with

this team this year, there's been such a swing of emotions because April was dog shit. And then

May was like the best

pitching any of us had seen pretty much in our entire life like for one month straight like

everyone was pitching six plus innings and not allowing anything and then June just shit the bed

again. So I mean, it's just even in the last week swept swept in, uh, swept by Boston, two out of three against Minnesota, swept by Philly, and now at least two out of three against, I was going to say Buffalo, but it is technically Toronto. It is Buffalo. It's just a swing of emotion. I don't know. I don't know. Like, could this series turn the Yankees around? Sure. Could they just go and get swept by Oakland? Of course.

You know, I said on our show before that stretch of games, we were going against,

I think he was going against the Red Sox and the Reyes. And I said, if we take four of seven there, I will be the happiest person alive, especially considering we were coming out of that

Tiger series where we got swept by them and not playing good baseball.

And, you know, they played well against the race and then they just get swept by the Red Sox. So it's been one of those seasons for the Yankees and it's just going to continue to be that way. And I'm honestly surprised that they were able to take the first two against Toronto, especially the way that Vladis playing. so I'm happy with the way they've
