Welcome to the Bronx Pinstripe Show, episode 176.

The Yankees have swept the twins, kicked them back to Minnesota.

It might have been a preview of the Wild Card series. If it is, you've got to be feeling pretty good as a Yankees have swept the twins, kicked them back to Minnesota. Monday, they beat them in a close pitchers duel Tuesday. Sabathia pitched great, and then today a blowout. Well, I guess we have nothing else to talk about. We just went through the entire thing. It's perfect. That's it. No, this was perfect. This was exactly what the Yankees needed. The Minnesota Twins come into town, and the Yankees just pretty much take it to them. There were some close games, which is good. I think the Yankees actually showed some Moxie this week as well when the twins came in and showed that they can actually

win a close game, which is something we haven't seen in a while with the amount of one-run

losses. So this was a huge confidence boost for the team. And I think on the on the fan base

side, a lot of expectations have changed. I still feel obliged to say, we're still going for the

division. The goal is to win the AL East. Girardi is spewing that stuff. Everyone in the

organization is saying our goal is still to win the AL East. And the Yankees have done everything in

their power to do that. They're eight and ten in their last, or eight and two in their last ten

...
