Welcome to the Bronx Pinstripe Show, episode 279.

That is a wrap on the Yankee season. Weird, bitter way to end it, obviously losing to the Red Sox.

Just a lifeless effort until the ninth inning when they got everybody excited and we thought maybe we're going to be watching one of those epic comebacks, epic games that they had so many times last year in the postseason just did not

happen. Yeah, it actually felt like it was it was damn close. Kimbril was having a hard time

finding the strike zone and, you know, they just, it was similar, similar story in the sense that

these guys just couldn't get things done with runners in scoring position.

I mean, Kimberl was basically helping them out.

That was, he was driving that rally in the last inning.

Yeah.

And they couldn't take advantage of anything.
