We come to you tonight after the Yankees, second straight loss to the Red Sox.

This one, they are on the short side of a terrific pitching duel.

Both pitches pitched exceedingly well.

It was a game that I would say, without any question, was the game this year where

I saw fewer hard hit balls than any other game.

Both starting pitches were in complete command.

Obviously, Frieda's not been good for the Yankees over his last seven starts. He had a 6.4,

a 6.9 for ERA. He had given up 15 runs and 24 innings. A lot of people thought he was injured.

A lot of people thought maybe the blister was bothering him.

He was back tonight in a big way.

I know people want to question why he didn't come out for the seventh inning,

why he didn't let him go well over 100 pitches.

I don't think he can pin the game on that.

Somebody eventually is going to score.

Their bullpen was a little better than the Yankee bullpen tonight.

Their starting pitcher went one extra inning.

Bella, who's become something of a Yankee killer, really was dominant tonight. He had come right from the start, I mean, every pitch on the corner, even though

the Yankees were complaining about the judge pitches, they were great pitches.

I mean, they were right on the corner, right on the bottom of the strike zone, right on

the corner edge of the strike zone, in, out, sinker, up, down, change up.
