I'm going to read to you guys on the radio the first paragraph and a half from Brendan Cuddy.

When the New York Yankees met before Saturday's win over the San Francisco Giants, three key veterans,

Aaron Judge, Jean-Carlo Stanton, and Paul Goldschmidt impressed upon their teammates the importance

of bringing their highest level of focus to every game they play this

year, several players told the athletic.

At the end of the day, Stanton said, it's focus with it being every day, late nights,

cross-country, early mornings, whatever you want, focus is the main thing that sways with energy as well.

But low energy is low focus.

It's one and the same.

And the reason this was harped on by these three veterans is because of last year.

Now, it's fair to say, well, what happened last year?

They lost a tiebreaker to the Toronto Blue Jays.

And they believe that one game and one lack of focus cost them that.

And if they would have had that, as we have pointed out many times, the New York Yankees

probably go to the World Series.

Right.

Because they don't play the Red Sox.

They have home field advantage in the DS and CS and Aaron Boone's track record, you can argue with it if you want, but you're wrong, is that if the Yankees have home field advantage, they go to the World Series. Now, I've said that, you've said that. For Jean-Carrlo's Stanton, Aaron, Judge, and Paul Goldschmidt to harp on that on a team meeting, the second day of the year,

or the third day of the year, to be exact, talking about the importance of focus and every

game matters.

I don't know how if you're a Yankee fan, you don't get, you know.

Yeah, well, I mean, that's, that's, that's leadership, though.
