Welcome to the Bronx Pinstripe Show.

On today's show, I talked to Andy Martino of SNY.

He's been on the pod a number of times.

But the reason I had them on today is because just yesterday, so I'm recording this on

Thursday.

You might be listening to this on Friday.

On Wednesday, he reported or he wrote an article that said,

well, the Yankees' external toxicity problem cost them Aaron, Judge, and other free agents.

You'll hear him talk about this and his experience covering the team in the last month or so in a little bit.

But basically, external toxicity among fans, social media,

unofficial media, and even regular media coverage of the team and the fact that they lost.

He said, you know, even some players noticed it. Obviously, they noticed it, but that it was very

brutal playing at Yankee Stadium over the weekend as they were getting swept by the Astros.

He's not coming at this from an angle of this is right or wrong, that the negativity is justified or not justified.

He's just simply reporting facts.

And so I talked to him about that.

We do get into a little bit if it's justified, but also if it'll cost them, Aaron

judge, what Brian Cashman's future is, why there's so much negativity among fans,
