Welcome to the Bronx Pinstripe Show episode 565. Here we are again on a Sunday afternoon talking about another sweep to the Red Sox. I electrocuted myself this weekend accidentally. And that wasn't the worst thing that happened to me this weekend. The worst thing was watching the Yankees try and beat the Red Sox because they figured out every which way to loose.

And another sweet, I think I'm done with this team.

I think officially I am done with this team.

I don't think they're going anywhere and I don't know what they could do to change my mind.

Scott, what are your thoughts after this shitty weekend?

Yeah, it was a terrible weekend of baseball, to be honest.

It was just, we talked about this on Friday when you're going into a series like this.

You want to at least split the first two games so that going into the Sunday game with Garrett Cole, you have your ace on the mound, you have an opportunity

to then win the series. And they did not do that. They did nothing close to that. And on Sunday,

within the first 10 minutes of the game, they were down for nothing because Garrett Cole,

the ace that we thought would hope us win the series, gave up two home runs off the bat.

No pun intended, very quickly.

And the Yankees, I mean, immediately were out of the game.

Immediately we're out of the game.

It was over.

Yeah.

Once you fall back for nothing with your ace on the mound and a got to have it game. Yeah. That's over. It was over. And it was over again when Aaron Judge didn't come through with a couple guys on base. I think it was the third inning. Yeah. Over, over many times. It was over. Terrible. The team's a bad team. It's a bad team and they've played well at times. It's crazy to me, it's crazy to me how how, how Garikol comes in. He's got to be a stopper at that point, right? Like, you know, we've had stoppers in the past on this team. C.C. was a stopper. Obviously, everybody remembers Eddie Pettop being the stopper. There were clear stoppers on this team. That person doesn't exist right now. It doesn't exist. And it's not even our Ace Garak, Cole, who, frankly, just hasn't been good lately. Just has not been good lately. And this guy can't come in and try to stop the bleeding. Not even to give the team in a, you know, a couple frames to put some up, you know, give them a few frames to try to get that lead. No, off the bat, like just immediately, literally immediately, he, uh, puts them behind. And, and this is nothing anywhere else. You can't look anywhere else. You've got to look
