Welcome to the Bronx Pinstripe Show, episode 126, the 2017 Yankees opening day version. Scott, I would like to go back to a simpler time when the Yankees were playing like the best team in baseball, also known as 2017 spring training instead of regular season.

That's the problem.

Tanaka still thought it was spring training it's very confusing

when you play in tampa after you've had an entire spring training in tampa and then you have to

understand that it's a regular season game i am pretty sure that the translator screwed this up somehow

and tanaka just was working on high fastballs well uh your theory goes out the window because he was dominant in spring training.

Only let up one run.

And he got shellacked on Sunday afternoon.

So I don't think he thought it was still spring training.
