with us plus Scott and Frank. So I feel like more, more than ever this season, you and I talk about

Yankees baseball. In the past, we would do a podcast and we'd be like, well, I haven't talked to him in two

months. I wonder what his thoughts are, even though I pretty much knew what your thoughts were.

Now I get your thoughts every day.

Yeah, and we usually get them early because we both have small kids,

so we're usually, like, at 6.50 in the morning talking about, you know, whatever's going on.

Yeah, it's like the caffeine hits from the coffee, and I'm like,

all right, let me fire off 45 takes.

So you pumped up for the gigantic acquisitions of Ryan McMahon and Amanda Rosario?

You know, I was, like a week ago, if you asked me,

I would have said to just not make a move for Suarez or McMahon because I felt like House Steinbrenner wasn't going to pay down the salary owed to McMahon.

He'd attach like good prospects to them like they kind of did when they traded for Rizzo and Gallo four years ago.

So I was of the mindset like, it's not worth going after and because of that.

But if you had told me that they were willing to eat the entire salary, which is essentially double his salary because of the luxury tax, then yeah, you got to go get someone who's

actually a capable major leaguer, whether or not he's been a good hitter throughout his career

or not.
