I, of course, Sarah Padgolids, am also here. I won't say I'm excited about today's topic like I

usually am, but it's a very important topic, and I'm really interested to see what

everybody has to say. Today we're going to be talking about medically assisted dying, more commonly

known as assisted suicide. It's been getting big in Canada. There was most recently a Japanese

professor from Yale who was talking about how to make it work in Japan. So I am looking forward to this conversation.

It won't be as uplifting as some of our talks are, but I think we'll come to some really good
