And I, like many people, watched Netflix's Roast of Kevin Hart over this past weekend.

And I just have a few quick thoughts that I want to share.

Cheryl Underwood, I hope you've gotten a lot of gift baskets.

She seemed to have a really great attitude about the whole thing, and I know she got a lot of heads up, but fuck.

I'm a bit confused as to how this woman ended up getting hammered so hard with the meanest comments of the entire very long.

I also wrote a piece on Variety with writer Madison

Sinclair of the roast, where she revealed some of the jokes that didn't make it to the actual

performance. And one of them, which was actually not even mean, was about Melania Trump.

And excuse me, please, if I have to sit through jokes about lynching and the line we're

not willing to cross is about our first lady's sex life, I mean, what are we doing?

Though I will say, looking out of that room, I'm not sure how well material like that would have played.

It was a little nagga. Always nice to see Brett Ratner in an audience.

Shane Gillis, I'm into it. I thought I wasn't. And then I was. And then I thought I was. And I thought I was. And I am.

I also love it when comedians repeatedly acknowledge when a bit isn't going well.

It's so funny to me.
