The Monica Perez show starts now. So I had a great night last night. I went and saw Sammy Hagar, the Red Rocker at the Forum,

and he was with Michael Anthony and Joe Satriani

and Jason Bonham, who sounds like a kid

because he's the son, I'm sure, of John Bonham,

but he's got to be like 50 I mean just

per force but I'm only mentioning it because some people might remember that when

the great Eddie Van Halen died.

I did a kind of retrospective on the Van Halen albums

one week at a time.

And because I live in the Pasadena area,

which is where Eddie and Alex were from.

I run into people every once a while who knew him growing up and David Lee Roth.

So I felt very connected.

It was very fun.

They played a lot of Van Halen songs it was a very down to earth

crowd I might say it was not it was not what I saw when I went to the sphere and saw the dead in Vegas.

I know you would think the dead would have like the dirty feet and everything that times have changed.

There were lots of catalacts with deadhead stickers in the parking lot out there.

But this was true to my blue-collar 80s roots, I have to say, I felt very at home there.
