Summary
The year was 1999 and the world was terrified of how computers would handle the new millennium. People became convinced that on January 1st, 2000, it would be the end of times. On this week's episode of The Alarmist, Rebecca welcomes fellow podcaster Molly Hawkey to discuss who is to blame for the mass hysteria around what turned out to be the least tragic tragedy in history, Y2K. On the board: The Media, Religious Doomsdayers, John Koskinen and Computer Programmers.
