our area by storm and it's known as Zariskape Gardening. So today we're doing a quick little

primer on it as well as a couple plant recommendations,

But let's go ahead and talk about it in the first place. What is it?

Zariscape comes from the Greek root word zeros, which means dry.

So pretty straightforward here.

Its origins reveal its purpose.

The method is a low water or no water landscaping technique used to reduce the need for irrigation, being

that drought is a constant thing here and we're not even really getting our water from ourselves,

we're getting our water from the Colorado River here in in San Diego. It's a really good idea.

The water bill goes down, your garden looks beautiful still. So sometimes referred to as

water-conserving landscaping or drought tolerant landscaping.

Xerscape is really gaining speed, but somehow it has gained the reputation of looking

like a dry-arid moon moonscape just something that's totally

devoid of life but that really could not be further from the truth you can have a

lush landscape with Sarasota Garden and and reduce your water bills as well

so the principles are gardening and reduce your water bills as well.
