As we are recording this, the final stages of the Microsoft versus FTC trial are happening.

We expect a verdict probably sometime next week. We've got the 4th of July holiday here in the US.

So we'll see next year's next excuse me next week's podcast could be one that has a

wholly different outlook one way or the other for the future of Xbox. But for now,

we are here to cover everything. And there's been some crazy stuff. Everything that's happened so far

since he has been right at the front lines of all this stuff along with all of our along with

our ace in courtroom reporter who's there right now. Rebecca Valentine. Cat Bailey. Thank you

for coming on. Hello. I'm happy to emerge ever so briefly from FTC land where I've existed for

the past two weeks or so. It's yeah. It's what a what a tip of the cap to you and Rebecca and the

news team. I mean, it's been I mean, Cat, just just real quick. Has there in your career and on top

of that in your recollection of the of your entire life? Has we has the video game industry ever seen

anything quite like this? It's certainly one of the most momentous trials that we've seen in

gaming history. And I mean, the closest we've seen is maybe the Apple versus Fortnite trial that

happened a couple years ago where there was all kinds of disc documents were coming out all the

time. Crazy revelations, crazy moments, crazy memes. So that was certainly a big one, but this one

has a slightly different tenor because it will probably decide the the course of the games
