Our leading story this week is about the Xbox series S. So one that I don't think a lot of us have actually had a lot of hand time hands on time with. I know I haven't.

I've always wanted to see one because I'm kind of jealous of the folks who have a really cool travel kit for their Xbox series us.

I don't think it's really practical for me also because I just don't go anywhere. But it's always such a cute console. And I think it's just such a perfect gift.

But the big news here is that it's getting performance boost, which is really cool to see the support for the series S as this is such a great point of entry for Xbox.

We don't have a PC or if you're just kind of getting into the game's ecosystem to begin with. So this was asked by the by the spot it excuse me by the verge.

The latest game development kit frees up hundreds get hundreds of additional megabytes of memory for the Xbox series as game developers.

And quote, this gives developers more control over memory, which can improve graphics performance and memory constraint conditions.

Microsoft's game dev team noted in July are assuming the June game development kit video. Well, this should help provide a much needed boost to the Xbox series us.

It will take time for developers to optimize games. And of course, there are no promises for the games that are already on the series as to get new sort of improvements to their overall performance.

Either way, though, you know, more memory is really important and of course allows the developers to do more with the games on series us, which I think are already doing really good.
