Hey, welcome to Knowles 24-7's On the Bench Podcast. This is Brendan Sonone and

going to have a different sort of podcast for you guys today, a different sort of format

to our normal traditional bantering back and forth.

It's just me for right now, but don't stop listening just because it's only just me.

There's going to be someone joining me in a minute here through the magic of editing and essentially what what we're going to do

today is is put a full interview that I did with with an FSU recruit, a Wyatt Rector.

He's a walk-on quarterback, a preferred walk-on slash Grayshir. He's got an interesting

status coming into Florida State in the next couple of weeks here and an interesting story to tell one of success and failure and hope and I think it's a really

cool personal interest story and I really appreciate that that why it was willing to sit down and talk for about 45 minutes and be vulnerable.

He's he's 19 years old he's experienced a lot of success as a football player and he's

experienced some some hardships too with with injuries and some let downs in the recruiting

process and things not going the way he wanted them to and that's kind of all

let him here to being able to go to Florida State and it's kind of a really cool

scenario for him as you're going to hear because he really lost hope for a while there and someone who's had a lot of success

to all of a sudden have a string of some failure or things not going the way they want them to is tough and to hear about his attitude and how he's continuing to kind of trying to work and have good things happen and open up for him.

It's cool.

So hopefully you guys enjoy it.

This is going to be again a different format to what we normally do.

We'll do our normal podcast later in the week as well.

There will be a story accompanying this podcast too as well in the next day or so,

but guys, this is something that we're trying to do more of and

you'll see that coming up in the future.
