Thanks for downloading WEDWay Radio. This is your show about Disney history and Disney parks. This is Season 8, Episode 6: The Master Showman. On this episode we continue looking at the career and life of Disney Imagineer Claude Coats and the growth and the changing Walt Disney Company from the 1920's through the 1980's.
As a part of episode 6, we take a look at the many projects, actions and reactions of the Walt Disney Company throughout the 1960's.
This decade is packed full of events and additions, including:
- The creation of audio animatronics and the omnimover
- The 1964-65 Worlds Fair
- The Disneyland TenCennial
- The addition of New Orleans Square
- The creation of two amazing attractions: Pirates of the Caribbean and the Haunted Mansion.
