He's Michael Hanfleur from What Culture and we are here to tell you what went down on the Smackdown before WrestleMania. We got Tim O'Wild to the one side of us, Dolby Live to the other that hosted SmackDown. That is about to host the Hall of Fame. But let's get into what happened on the Smackdown before WrestleMania. We had Pat Mac have he shown up at the start of the show. the SmackDown GM gave him some contract sign.

I still don't know what it was about. But still, Randy Ong comes out to start the show to talk about, well, again, more about Pat McAfee than actually facing Cody Rhodes initially. He said that he didn't need Pat McAfee, but he wanted him because he's the only straight shooter in this business.

And he turned his attention to winning the chamber and saying how he anticipated facing Drew McIntyre.

And then Cody took that spot away from him.

And then he got annoyed that Cody was giving him permission to be himself, basically.

And then he talked about getting offended that Cody didn't ask him for help against Roman

Raines with the whole bill to WrestleMania 40 but he said he's hurt his legacy with what he's

had to do with Cody recently and he's going to fix it tomorrow and he was going to do it with

the most dangerous letters in sports entertainment RKO and then so immediately after that after that, they jumped in a, well, they jumped in a van and left, basically.

Your thoughts on the final builds to Randy and go on Randy's side, at least to Randy and Cody ahead of tomorrow night.

Stuck in the middle with you, still talking about

Pat McAfee. Like, Randy Orton did a really, really good job with this promo, this material,

as Cody Rhodes has illustrated, is not good. Nobody likes this. And yet, he's gone out there,

Randy Orton, and he's tried to, like, say his piece, really more so than he has since the

reveal of Pat McAfee, even being sort of announced as his guy and the whole thing still ends with stupid Pat with the stupid contracts and his stupid truck look I get that that's where the heat lies with this match but uh just when I thought they were going to stick the landing as indeed we'll get to you later on with Cody Rhodes they couldn't help themselves like I can't see this going any other way than the disaster that's sort of been

forecast.

And unfortunately, for a go-home promo, you kind of need to, like, get your ducks in the road. You need to feel like everything's going to work out. I don't get that from this. Yeah, I think Pat McAvier's overshadowed this whole build. the moment he got introduced and it didn't change on the smackdown before

WrestleMania.
