With Night Number One of WrestleMania, this is the start of the Triple H.

era. Michael Cole literally said that on commentary.

This is the beginning of the Triple H era of World Wrestling Entertainment. And he had to make a call in this build up here on the road to WrestleMania. He had to make a call to pivot in a different direction because

of the backlash from fans after Cody Rhodes wins the Royal Rumble, punches his ticket to

WrestleMania and has to step aside to make room for the rock to challenge Roman Reigns.

Fans didn't like that very much.

And so he had to make a decision. What do we do here?

What do we do? Do we just stay the course? Do we fight against the fans? Or do we call an audible and change directions?

And the Rock is the one who ultimately made the call that he was going to go heal.

And so there were a lot of changes here on this road to WrestleMania and it led to where we are here tonight.

Although, I will say that if you listen to that crowd in Philadelphia, it certainly

did not sound as if the rock was the heel in this match.

Philadelphia fans in the stadium tonight might have a different opinion of that.

But for the second year in a row, year number two, Cody Rhodes loses in the main event of WrestleMania.

But the second WrestleMania in a row,

Cody Rhodes gets pinned by a member of the bloodline

and is sitting in the middle of the ring a loser.

As Roman Reigns and the rock

celebrate in the background and they get the big pyro celebration.

And the rock pins Cody Rhodes.

And so now tomorrow night, night two,
