This is another edition of the Black Letter Body Slam.

It is Evil Doze, Jeff Lipman, the Diabolical attorney, residents in the wrestling soup universe with another

exciting edition of the Black Letter Body Slam, where law and wrestling lock it up.

Okay.

Got a couple things going on that I thought were worth talking about that are new. One is in the trademark policy that's been

Bally Hoot a little bit this week for WWE, and we'll talk about that second. It's probably not

as earth-shattering as people are describing it as it probably has some benefit to WWE, but also, as I hope you'll see pretty

clearly, it also will have a benefit to the talent as well. All right. The other matter is what's

going on in the Janelle Grant lawsuit. And it's a little bit confusing and information is coming out

in drips and drabs. So I'm going to speak on this based on what I've been seeing in the Twitterverse

and articles and things like that, which I, you know, I haven't independently verified.

I am not getting downloads of the actual pleadings.

If anyone has them, I'd love to see them.

I would love to see the stay order.

I'd love to actually see the actual motion.

But here's what I understand is happening, that Janelle Grant's attorneys filed a state action against the

doctor that she saw for her own medical records and or clarification on treatments or drugs or

holistics or homeopathics that she was given that she didn't quite understand what she got.

Frankly, I don't understand why inaction is needed. Typically, if you want your records,

you ask for it, most state laws give a maximum that the health care provider charges for this.
