Tonight was the first Summerslam without Vince McMahon, although it was largely of Vince McMahon

card.

I mean, before he went away, he put most of this show together, but it was the first

Summerslam officially, the first pay-per-view of the Triple H era since he took over as

the new head of creative in WWE, and already we are beginning to see major changes.

In fact, we saw it in the opening match on this show tonight where honestly, you know,

when we talk about Triple H coming in and how long it's going to take to really start

to see changes to the creative end of this company, changes to the types of talent who

were pushed, changes in every facet of this company.

It's going to be a long-term process, right?

It's not going to happen overnight.

I don't know too many people who expected there to be too many changes that were going

to be noticed on the show tonight.

Maybe you would see a big surprise or a return or something, and what we ended up with

in the very first match on this show tonight, in one fell swoop, under this new administration,

they have completely revitalized the Raw Women's Division.

That was in the opening segment of this show.

Completely took a division that was dead and have breathed new life into it.

So that was a hot way to open the show tonight.

And actually, I thought the first couple of matches on the show were very good.

I thought that was a great way to open SummerSlam tonight, and then we settled into a pattern

where things kind of fell off a cliff.
