Hello and welcome to the Smackdown Review. I'm Adam Wilborn from What Culture, joined by another one. I'm going to Apple from What Culture. It's a reviewer that happened on this week's episode of Friday Night Smackdown. I've done three videos today already and I just, I was thinking to myself, it's not the

go home and there's no fallout, but I just just it came in my head that you would want to do

your summer slam gag for the third time. Oh yeah summer slam you mean uh summer shelves because

it's so stacked that's the one and uh I was thinking I was gonna wedge that in and then I'll see

can't and then I started giggling and I created the way that's how this works

yeah a weird addition to smackdown it was um understandably so we talked about it on their

preview that it was likely it was going to be substantial changes I would say I think

we'll get onto it in a minute once you've actually recapped how the show starts. They

changed less than I thought they would, but it was very clear how much had to be adjusted and

shifted in light of the Hulk Hogan News. So I think in my head, I was starting to think, you know what,

they might just actually cut this match or remove this entirely.

There's another week to go.

They can maybe shift some stuff to raw or just massively stack up that last go-home smackdown.

And instead, with, I would say with the exception of the big stuff, the Cody Road stuff,

it felt like everything else just got time cut.

Yeah. They tried to keep the intended show as was, albeit with less time to play with.

Yeah, this would have been perfect for a three-hour smackdown, ironically.

That sentence should never be said again, but yes.

Yeah, I guess technically the extra time would have helped me.

It did feel like I enjoyed watching the show, I think, more so than most,

because I've had like a week out, so I'm just like, any wrestling, let's go. Let's see what's going on here. But it did feel a lot. Like as I was watching it, it was like, oh, cool, match I started. I'd break at one, two, three. Oh, it's finished. I rarely get the chance to watch the live Netflix version of it over here. but obviously we've had the massive benefit of having the, on raw, especially you just get a little black screen and then it comes
