We could be less than 24 hours away from a new champion for the first time in two years.

Tonight was a rare taped episode of Smackdown.

It's kind of funny. Usually Smackdown is live and rampage is taped.

Tonight, it happens to be the inverse Smackdown was taped last week.

They had a travel to Cardiff for tomorrow's show.

So they taped two episodes last Friday.

And rampage is actually live tonight.

But I thought, you know what? We'll go live.

We'll talk about Smackdown tonight and then we'll do clash at the castle predictions.

We'll combine the two.

We'll leave out rampage for this week at least.

And I thought on the whole, it was a decent go home show.

I thought on the whole tonight show nothing great.

But on the whole, I thought it was pretty decent.
