Hello, and welcome to their Smackdown preview. I'm Adam Wilborn from WhatCulture joined by

one of the deadly boys Michael Hamflut from WhatCulture to look ahead to tonight's episode

and a major contract signing ahead of Fastlane, Daniel Bryan, of course, winning that steel cage

match against J.U. So last week, which means he gets a shot at Universal Champion Roman

Reigns next Sunday. Hamflut, your reaction to the last week's events and how you think

it's going to go down tonight? Like predictable, but not in a bad way. I think that's

fair to say. It's probably evidence that Smackdown is still trying to be the better booked

WWE show. Yeah. The all the way back in the sort of February period, whenever it was

probably post-war rumble spell, they positioned an elimination chamber to set up a near miss

for Daniel Bryan, to set up an actual match with Daniel Bryan. Roman Reigns, feed with Kevin

Owens, fed into the chamber, his feed with Daniel Bryan, fed out of it. Like, sorry, that's

so boring in terms of analysis, but I think it's because they've not really attached much

story to it beyond that. It's gone from match to match to match to match. But good, you

know, better like better sometimes to be functional than nothing at all. And as we kind

of talked about before, the advantage that they have in this case of this particular programme

is that it's Daniel Bryan versus Roman Reigns. Yeah. The playoff is so rewarding before you've
