WWE Unified Titles, I Unify Reviews, that's kind of how we do things around here.

Anyway, I hope you guys are having a good Friday night, a good start to your weekend, and thank you for starting your weekend off with me.

Roman Reigns was supposed to make some kind of an announcement tonight about what the future holds for he and the bloodline after that very lame ending on Roman Monday night, where they came out, and they made an announcement that on Friday, they would make an announcement, and so we come to Friday night, and what is the big announcement, the big announcement is that Roman Reigns wants Jimmy and Jay Uso, he wants his cousins to go to Monday Night Raw, and do what he did at WrestleMania, he went to WrestleMania, he beat Brock Lesnar,

and he unified the WWE in Universal Times. He wants the Uso's to do the same thing, he wants them to carry more gold, bring more gold into the bloodline by beating the Raw Tag Team Champions, and bringing the Raw Tag Team Titles into the bloodline, and then we had an appearance, a very random appearance by Shinsuke Nakamura, who I cannot imagine is going to be the next challenger for the championship, but it looked that way, the way they went off the air.

Certainly not a very inspiring choice, given the way he's been booked recently, he just took the loss of WrestleMania, he comes out there, Roman gives him a hug, then he gets kicked in the face, and Nakamura is left looking like a Gibron.

I certainly hope they can do better than Shinsuke Nakamura, as far as the next challenger for the championship, but then that begs the question of who, if not Nakamura, then who, they don't really have a lot of good options.

But the idea that WWE is even considering unifying the Tag Team Titles is great, great.

Not necessarily that the bloodline will have a stranglehold on all the gold, but I've been talking about this now for a few years now, as far as having one set of Tag Team Champions that float the way the women's titles used to be.

One set of Tag Team Champions that float from show to show brand to brand, because the Tag Team division on its own is just not strong enough on each individual show.

You combine the two, it isn't too bad, it's certainly better than it is now.

I don't know if they're going to go through with it, but they teased it, and the last time they teased a unification a few months ago, we got one at WrestleMania.

So that was actually a very surprising, but a pleasantly surprising announcement at the end of SmackDown tonight.

It was not a great show, SmackDown was not a great show, but it was a newsworthy one.

It was a newsworthy show because on this show we had the split, finally, between Baron Corbin and Mad Cat Moss, been waiting for this now for a while.

We had the split between those two. I was also waiting to see if we would get something that we did not get on the RAW after WrestleMania, which was very unusual.

We didn't get any new debuts or NXT call-ups on Monday unless you count Elias as brother.

But tonight we had, and this has been talked about for a while, and I've talked about the idea of what's going to happen one day when Walter gets called up to the main roster.

Here's how they should use him, of course, how I think they should use him could be very different from how he actually gets used.

After what we saw on NXT on Tuesday night, the only logical conclusion to be drawn from them rushing a Braun Breaker Walter match for the NXT Championship,

and beating Walter clean like they did in the Nickelodeon Zone on Tuesday, that only made sense if they had decided that they were going to rush him up to the main roster.

And tonight we had the SmackDown debut of Gunter, but Gunter did not come alone.
