Tonight it was the beginning of the Cody Rhodes era on Smackdown, the brand new

On Smackdown tonight as well. And will he still be though the face of Smackdown coming out of the

draft we learn the w w w w draft on Monday is coming up at the end of the month is he still going to be on Smacked Out? Is he going to be on Raw as he has been for the past two years?

I really believe that the champion should be immune from being drafted.

And typically they have not been.

That is something I'd like to see Triple H make very clear.

But we have to assume that Cody may end up being drafted to a completely different show. We'll have to wait and see maybe the champions will be swapped

But we know two men are going to smack down next Friday only one of them will come out of that show as the

number one contender for the WWE Undisputed Championship at Backlash, which is coming up in France

at the beginning of May May and that will be either

LA Knight or A.J. Styles and I think we all know who's coming out of that match

next week with the win. It's almost as if there was a certain someone who

predicted that this very thing would happen many weeks ago. But AJ Styles

always struck me as the best option to put in there with Cody Rhodes

is his first post-Mania feud right? I mean you want him in there with somebody that

you know they can give you great matches but it's somebody that can be beat,

because you're not going to take the title off Cody this soon.

A.J. Styles just seemed to be the guy that fit the bill.

But that's also why I thought A.J. would win at Wrestle media. And then he went in there and he lost.
