Tonight we had a good show for SmackDown, I thought there was more good than bad on the show tonight,

but it peaked with the father and son angle, Ray Mysterio and Dominic Mysterio.

We knew tonight here in Las Vegas that the Mysterio family would be in attendance.

We didn't know exactly what was going to go down, but it seemed pretty clear this was probably

going to be the angle to set up the WrestleMania match between the two of them.

And that's exactly what we got tonight. So think of all the months,

all the many, many, many weeks that we have had this same angle where Dominic comes out,

tries to get his father to hit him, strike me, put your hands on me, punch me.

Ray says, no, I will not do that. I will not touch my son. I will not accept a challenge

to a match at WrestleMania. I will never do that.

And tonight, all it took was Dominic getting up in his mother's face and yelling in his mother's

face to get Ray to change his mind. And when Ray Mysterio punched his son on the show,

didn't quite match the pop that Sammy and KO got for that first hug on SmackDown, but

it came pretty damn close. It was great. It was a great payoff to an angle that has been really

dragging out now for quite a long time in the match now, is official for WrestleMania.

That really was the peak of the show. We also had Kevin Owens and Sammy Zane, who I just

mentioned, closing out the show tonight. We got some lighthearted moments between the two of them

with Kevin Owens giving Sammy a brand new t-shirt. Much the same way Roman Reigns gave Sammy the

honorary Usher many months ago and ending with the Usos and bushing the two of them and leaving

them laying until KO came back into the ring with the chair to chase them off.

How many times, so let's think about this, how many times over the last several months have we

seen these shows? And I'm not just talking about SmackDown, I'm talking about RAW as well.
