Tonight on SmackDown, we had the Kansas City showdown between Sami Zayn and Jey Uso confronting

each other in the ring to close out the show, but first we had Cody Rhodes.

Making a special appearance venturing over to the Friday night show, trying to play peacemaker

between Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn, trying to get the two of them back on the same page.

Again, Kevin Owens, not receptive, not wanting to have anything to do with Sami Zayn,

but you had to think that later on in the show with Sami coming back out, there might be some

kind of development, there might be some kind of angle that they were going to shoot at the very

end of the show. And tonight was the night that we finally got that angle because Kevin Owens

and Sami Zayn, it took long enough, it took many, many weeks, but here tonight we finally got

the reunion between KO and Sami. And the tag team title match of WrestleMania now is all,

but official, what a great moment it was to when the two of them hugged, when Kevin Owens came in

for that big bear hug in the middle of the ring and the place exploded. This is a moment that

has been built up now for many, many weeks. And really you could say it's been built for many years,

given the backstory and the history between Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn. So that place

went nuts for that moment. And I got to tell you, Cody Rhodes is the miracle man.

I mean, what more can you say? First of all, not only did he solve racism,

but he brought Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn back together. He did the impossible.

Just give the man the title. I mean, if that doesn't earn him the undisputed championship,

I don't know what does. We also got some clarity tonight, finally, on the intercontinental championship

picture for WrestleMania, exactly what we expected. And I was not a fan of how they went about doing it.

I actually thought it was kind of goofy, but we did get a match tonight between Drew McIntyre

and Shayna's going one-on-one to determine who would meet Gunther, WrestleMania for the ICT title.
