The bad old days are back. Sure feels that way, doesn't it? With each passing week watching this show, I am getting flashbacks to 2018, 2019. It has gotten very bad. Smackdown sucks. And if it wasn't for Ilya Dragonov and these US title and Sammy Zane before him to give Sammy credit, but if it wasn't for Ilya Dragonov and these U.S. title and Sammy Zane before him to give Sammy credit.

But if it wasn't for them in these U.S. title open challenges that we've been having, there would be absolutely no reason to watch these shows.

You know, I cover them here, but I cannot tell you how many people I've heard from.

And this has been, you know, over a period of many months, but especially lately, when it comes to the weekly shows and SmackDown is usually cheap among them, more so than Raw.

Who say, I don't even watch the show. I just, you know, tune into the review to find out what happened.

And if there was anything good that happened on the show, I just, you know, tune into the review to find out what happened. And if there was anything good that happened on the show, then I'll check out the clips.

But I cannot stomach sitting through the weekly shows anymore. It has gotten just that bad.

Smackdown is an empty shell. There is no life to this show. There is no soul. There is nothing of any real

redeeming value. They have the talent. I mean, the talent is there. But of course, it's always how

you utilize the talent that you have. You can have the greatest roster in the world,

and it doesn't make a difference if you're not fitting the pieces where they belong and actually

putting together compelling stories and compelling matches week to week. So the talent being there

really doesn't mean anything. They don't give you any compelling reason to really care

week to week to tune into these shows,

to want to tune in the following week to find out what's going to happen next week or,

you know, see some big match that maybe they announce in advance. SmackDown has become

the worst type of television.

Boring television.

Because when the television is really great, it's great, right?

I mean, there's been times where we've gone through periods where, and I go back to the pre-Resslemania television, heading into last year's WrestleMania in Philadelphia.

When the television is exciting or interesting or really good, things are great, right?

No, nobody's ever going to like everything 100% of the time, but you know when the show is good and you know when the show is bad.
