Tonight was the season finale of Friday Night Smackdown, and the reason I know that is because next week is the season premiere, so you cannot have a season premiere without first having a season finale.

And that is what we had tonight. We had an unholy alliance being forged between the two top heel factions in the company, the bloodline or what's left of it, and the judgment day.

Because we had everybody, we had everybody on the show tonight, it didn't matter what brand you're from, Ross, Smackdown, NXT.

It's pretty much just a free for all at this point.

So we had a lot of members from different brands on the show tonight to hype up fast lane, which is tomorrow night.

Tonight in the main event, we had LA night in Jimmy Uso, but it really wasn't a match.

It was more of an angle to set up what came after the match.

And we had John Cena, we had LA night outnumbered out man out gun by the judgment day and the bloodline.

And just when things look most bleak for the baby faces, we had Jay Uso and we had Cody Rhodes from Monday Night Raw making an appearance.

To even the odds, we had a big brawl to close out the show, big crowd pleasing brawl, lots of chaos.

And the baby faces were standing tall when they went off the air tonight, and we now know it is official even though we've known this for a few weeks, but they made it official tonight that next week.

Next Friday night on Smackdown on the season premiere, guess who's coming back to work.

The tribal chief is coming back to Smackdown next week.

Roman Reigns will finally be back on TV first time since Summerslam, he will be back on the program.

But that is not the only thing they are promoting for next week's show.

They're also promoting a special appearance by Triple H. They did not tell us what Triple H is going to be there for.

They did not even tease what the announcement might be, but they said that he would be making not even a special announcement.

He would be there making a special appearance, but if he's going to be making an appearance, he's not going to come out and wave and say,

high and then walk to the back. Obviously, he's going to be there because he has something to announce.

And so we might just finally find out next week who Smackdown got as trade compensation for Jusso going to Monday night Raw.

Could that be the announcement or could it be tied in with the announcement of a war games match because this is going to be the first Smackdown post pay preview.

And the first Smackdown on the road to survivor series that is going to be the next show next month in Chicago.
