I gotta give a shout out to our good friends at Chat GPT.

They put together a good Smackdown tonight.

All hail our new AI overlords.

Can't be any worse than some of the Smackdowns that we've gotten earlier this year.

This was a good episode of Smackdown Tonight.

This was the second week in a row that the show had a little bit of a different feel

to it.

You could see that certain changes are being made.

Hopefully more changes will be made in the weeks to come.

There's still much work to be done.

But they closed tonight's show with a big angle because we had Cody Rhodes and Drew McIntyre in an impromptu match that was not announced coming into the show.

And we don't know if it was for the WWE championship or not.

Even the announcers were wondering, is this for the

WWE Championship? That was never clarified. That was by design. But what we had here was

supposed to be a number one contenders match between Drew McIntyre and Jacob Fattu, the winner of

which would go on to become the next challenger for Cody Rhodes and the WWE title.

And then a few days ago, unfortunately, we had a report, I believe body slam.net was first to break the news.

The Jacob fought too had suffered a non-wrestling injury, which is very broad, and that can mean any number of things.

That could be an injury, illness.

They said injury.
