we talk about the WWE showing attitude on Raw and Smackdown. This is the busted open

podcast. There's so many things that's going on. But the first thing I want to talk to you about

is the word attitude. I remember Vince McMahon telling that story and we heard

this story over the years, how the attitude era was ushered in to the wrestling business

because Vince Rousseau was writing with attitude or with an edge and Vince McMahon holds

up the magazine and says, that's what we want attitude. God damn it, we want attitude, right?

I just think that what we're seeing here in 2024, especially as of late, is not just AED, not just MLW this week, but also

WW is showing some attitude. You watch that raw. You'd be hard pressed to find a better raw than we saw on Monday, because

it's not just turning heel, it's just even the ones that you root for that feel like a baby

face, they also have a little bit of an edge. And I think that that's one of the things that

attracts me to wrestling is it's more, it's storylines yes it's the wrestling yes but it's your

persona do you wrestle and do you speak with an edge i think we saw that in wwe this week

absolutely uh that monday night raw was um that was i don't want to say quite after mania type of

role but it had that energy you know not not quite to that level, but it had that same type of energy.

It was that after Survivor series kind of raw of, you're right.

I mean, and obviously it helps that it's two hours right now.

And God, I hope that we're closer to two than three when it gets to Netflix.

But it was just a solid two hours.

No time wasted.

No unnecessary motion.

Everything that they rolled out had a purpose, had a place, and also delivered.
