Well, for the first time in 19 years, Madison Square Garden played host tonight to a Saturday night's main event with a card that was as weak as any MSG card, probably that we have seen in years.

I mean, you look at what was on this card, on paper, coming into...

I mean, thankfully, we at least had the big tag team main event.

But for weeks, we had one, we had two, we had three matches, and I was like, looking at

this card, I'm like, this is a Madison Square Garden, this is pathetic.

This is really bad.

And then we had the tag team match that was added that at least, and last night on

SmackDown, we had actual stakes put on the line in that tag team match.

So that was good at least, but I can't say the same for the rest of this card.

It was a bloody night.

I feel like we had more blood, incidental blood on this show than we have in a very long time in

WWA, Fallon Henley, Lyra Valkyria, CM Punk had the least of it, but it was either from the

nose or the mouth, so we had some blood on this show.

I told you guys last night, we gathered here to talk about Smackdown, and I ran down the final card, and I said, this is a

one-mat show. This Saturday night's main event is going to hinge on how good the main event is.

It's a one-match show. It all comes down to Cody Rhodes and CM Punk against Gunther and Sammy Zane,

which had the potential to be a really fun match, and that one match delivered. I actually thought

the main event was a lot of fun, except it ended up not being the main event. I keep calling it the

main event, but as it turns out, it was not the main

event on their show here tonight, which is pretty crazy because they gave the main event to

Roman Raines. In case you were wondering who the man in WWE is, in case you were wondering

who's probably getting that night to Summer Slam main event,
