Royal Rumble is my favorite event of the year.

Always enjoyed the Royal Rumble ever since I was a little, a little monster.

Always my favorite event.

So it kills me when we get one that is mediocre.

And that is what the men's match was here this year in the Royal Rumble. It was the definition of

mediocrity. Funny enough, mediocrity is the word that Roman Raines used when he was on Pat

McAfee show this week, when he was doing what I took to be a mostly in-character interview.

But it was a word that he used when he was on the show the other day, talking about the

current crop of young talent in the company.

He was remarking basically in so many words about waiting for someone to step up, how he

laid the groundwork and kind of set things up for success and he's been waiting for

somebody else to step up to the plate and kind of take the baton and run with it.

Talked about the young talents who he says, complain about guys like him, hogging up all the

TV time, which can't possibly be true of Roman Raines because if we get him three or four times in a six-month period, that's a lot.

So I don't know who the young guys are referring to, certainly not Roman Raines, when they talk about that.

But this is part of what he said.

He said, I give them plenty of space to create whatever type of superstardom they want.

Get over.

That's what he says.

Get over.

Get over, kids.
