Welcome to the busted open podcast. This is Dave LaGrecca. On today's episode, WWE Hall of Famer,

the world's strongest man, a world champion and not one, not two, but three different sports,

Mark Henry and I talk about all the WWE releases from late yesterday. That's right.

After a successful quarter three for the WWE where they exceeded expectations, we actually got

18 wrestlers released from their WWE contracts. We'll get into that. Also getting ready for AEW

rampage tonight, we talk to Adam Cole, baby right now on the busted open podcast.

18 pro wrestlers released yesterday by the WWE. This is just hours after the announcement

of a great Q3 revenue for the WWE. They're quarterly call happening in between the time of July

1st to September 30th upwards of 256 million in revenue and definitely having an issue,

definitely having an issue with that and then having the call that 18 wrestlers were released.

It's just a very, very tough time and Mark, it wasn't that long ago that ring of honor made their

announcement that they're going on hiatus and that they let their roster go. They gave them

the freedom to sign anywhere else. Everybody that was signed for the year as of the end of this

year is no longer going to be under contract and anybody that had a multi year deal was going to

be on contract only up until April of 2022. So Mark, a lot of talent on the street in the world

of pro wrestling, unfortunately. Yeah, unfortunately. I mean, like I said, it's the holiday season and people

are going to have to really not overdo it. You want to make sure that you can stretch out until you

find a job, not overspend. I'm sure that there's, and we're all adults. If you've got kids,

let the kids have a great Christmas. But all your friends and family out there that's expecting gifts,

like put it out your mind, like let these people consolidate and save and not feel under the
