We are less than three weeks away from WrestleMania, and tonight, not a great RAW show.

Not one of the better episodes of Monday Night Raw.

We had a fun made event, it was a street fight between Kevin Owens and Solos Sikoa,

and we had a terrific promo by Cody Rhodes, putting over the importance of his upcoming championship match at WrestleMania on night two against Roman Reigns.

And those were really the only two bright spots on the entire show.

Two, on a three hour show, that is not good.

But Cody Rhodes was one of the highlights tonight, he had a match with L.A. Knight, actually had what I thought was a pretty good match.

And when the match was over, Cody got on the microphone and he talked about Roman Reigns and he delivered this passionate promo as much fire as I've seen out of him really in any promo since he's come back to the company.

This was the classic babyface fiery promo heading into the big championship match.

And he said, Roman, I acknowledge you, but dammit, you're going to acknowledge me.

And he talked about why it's important for him to go to WrestleMania and become the undisputed champion.

Not one mention of Dusty Rhodes in the promo tonight, what are people going to complain about?

Not one Dusty mentioned, but I thought it was a tremendous promo.

We also had our first face to face or face to chest, I guess you would say, in the middle of the ring with Brock Lesnar and Olmos.

This was a segment where if you got up to go grab a snack and then came back in, you may have missed the entire segment.

And maybe that's frankly the best way for this to be because how long should these segments really be between these two?

It's not like they're out there as master promo people.

We did get the face to face and one very hilarious aspect of this segment between these two because they didn't have much to do.

But the one thing that they were supposed to do, they messed up.

They botched the spot, they had one job, couldn't quite get it right.

Probably not a good open for the actual match coming up at WrestleMania.

We had the first Hellenous Cell announcement in many, many years tonight for WrestleMania because Edge challenged Finn Balor not only to a WrestleMania match, but he challenged him to a Hellenous Cell match the first such Hellenous Cell match at a WrestleMania in seven years.
