Tonight was the post summer slam edition of Monday Night Raw. It was also another Dominic

Mysterio main event and I have lost track of how many that is so far this year.

We're only, what are we at August, right? So we still have a few months left to go.

He may set the record, but the time this year is over 2023. The record may belong to

Dirty Dom as far as the number of main events on television. But we had another six-man tag

team judgment date main event. We've had quite a few of those recently. It was Seth Rollins

as it was Cody Rhodes and it was Shinsuke Nakamura taking on Finn Balor, Demi and Priest and

Dominic Mysterio. That was the main event that they set up during the show. This after

Shinsuke Nakamura had a singles match with Big Bronson Reed earlier in the show. When

he cut a promo after the match in the pack, he flashed a devilish little grin when he

offered his services to Seth Rollins when Sammy Zane went down with an injury.

They focused on Nakamura's face and I knew then there was a reason for that and kind of

see it coming from a mile away. We got our main event, and sure enough, Baby Face is

stand tall, but at the very end of the show, Shinsuke Nakamura delivers a Kinshasa to

Seth Rollins and he very casually walks off. And just like that, one kick to the face

where he, I guess, one knee strike to the face and it looks like we have our main event

set up for payback coming up Labor Day weekend. Or do we? Because early in the show, it looked

like they were setting up something with Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes. That was the other

question coming into tonight's show. Now the Cody has vanquished Brock Lesnar. What do

you do with Cody Rhodes? Where does Cody go from here? It'll look like he was going to

a world championship match with Seth Rollins. Now that looks a little less certain, unless

they're going to go the triple threat route, which is always possible. But never
