This is your WWE Monday Night Raw review for August 28, 2023. I am the Salomonster

coming off of all in on Sunday, very busy day, very busy weekend. We started new because

we got two paper views coming up this upcoming weekend. We're heading into Labor Day weekend

here in the U.S. and WWE comes first on Saturday. A.W. has its second paper view in a week

on Sunday. But tonight was the go home edition of Raw, the final episode before payback this

Saturday. And WWE tonight was in Memphis, Memphis, Tennessee, the home of the king, Jerry

the King Lawler, who suffered a stroke back in February. And it was a pretty bad one.

I know it affected his speech among other things and he wasn't even able to be physically

there for the Hall of Fame this year when Andy Kaufman was inducted in. You knew you had

to know that it was pretty bad for Lawler. And for all the years of him lobbying for Andy

Kaufman to be inducted into the Hall of Fame, he finally is. And all he could do was send

in a video. I'm sure that was very frustrating for him. And it's got to be very frustrating

for someone to have speaking issues given the fact that he made a career out of running

his mouth, cutting promos and doing commentary. So he was having a rough go of it there for

a while. He hasn't made a total and complete recovery yet. We haven't really heard a lot

about him recently. But during the commercial break, one of the commercial breaks on the

show tonight, Sammy Zayn and Kevin Owens were out there on stage. And WWE posted the video
