Oh, it's happened. It has happened. We knew this day was coming. It was only a matter of time. We didn't know when. We didn't know where. But we knew that Goldberg was going to reemerge on WWE television sometime soon. Because we have been hearing reports about this Saturday night's

main event date on July 12th for a while. They're going to be in Atlanta, Georgia, and the

talk of the town has been that Bill Goldberg was finally going to get that retirement match that

he has been belly aching about for years and years. And so Triple H and WWE decided to shut him up by giving him what he wants.

And tonight it was made official, ladies and gentlemen, challenging for the World Heavyweight Championship.

Goldberg.

Who's next? Who gives a shit?

That's the better question. No, we know who's next. We all know who's next.

Gunther is next. And it was made official tonight that it will be one-on-one Goldberg challenging Gunther for the World Heavyweight Championship in Atlanta, Georgia at the State Farm Arena, Saturday night's

main event.

And you know, Goldberg is actually, I think, a very appropriate title because while the guy

keeps himself in good shape, I mean, you look at him, I'm not saying that Goldberg is walking around like a stick

figure, but my God, you know, watching him limp along to the ring, he was kind of walking to the

ring like a zombie a little bit. I thought that was a very appropriate name. Now, look, none of this

comes as a surprise, because we all knew that the likely opponent for him

was always going to be Gunther.

If you made a short list of people that you think he might have gone up against in his retirement

match because they already shot the angle for it, right, late last year.

It was a bad blood, I think.

Then you had to know that Gunther was likely going to

be the guy. It wasn't going to be Braun Breaker. It wasn't going to be anybody else that really

would have made any sense, quite frankly. But the way they went about doing it tonight, I thought
