Solomonster reviews WWE Monday Night Raw for May 1st and Night Two of the WWE Draft, a draft that Triple H told us would truly "change the game". He is left wondering how exactly the game has changed as it was a largely predictable event that re-arranged some of the furniture, but as always, it all falls back on how seriously they treat the brand split. Hidden behind the draft was a terribly boring episode of Raw that did little to excite heading into Backlash.

When Triple H announced this year's WWE draft several weeks ago, he said that it would

0:08.6

shake WWE to its core.

0:12.4

Really built it up, used a lot of very big words to make this feel like this was going

0:18.7

to be a draft like no other, a draft like nothing we had ever seen before.

0:23.8

And they introduced a new world heavyweight championship for Monday night Raw because they

0:30.6

don't want to take the other two belts off Roman Reigns so we have to have a new championship.

0:35.1

So they introduced this new title and there's nothing earth shattering about this, it's

0:41.0

not as if we haven't seen that before where they've introduced new titles in this company.

0:46.5

But they built it up like this was some kind of groundbreaking thing.

0:51.5

And as far as the draft picks are concerned, the way that I would describe it now that

0:55.6

the draft is over, now that we have had two nights of the WWE draft.

1:01.6

It was the equivalent of rearranging the living room furniture.

1:05.3

They didn't really go out and buy any new furniture, they didn't buy any new tables or

1:10.3

chairs or a new television.

1:14.2

They just took the furniture that they had and they rearranged it.

1:19.4

That couch that was over there over by the wall, they moved it from that wall to the wall

1:24.4

over there.

1:25.4

The television stand was right over there in that corner and they moved it into the other

1:30.7

corner.

1:31.7

That really is what they did in this WWE draft this year despite all of the teases that

1:36.9

we had weeks ago about potential to break up factions into break up tag teams.

1:43.9

We saw none of that.
